I had a great time staying at Guest House Capitao Mor. The location in Faro's old town was fantastic, with easy access to bars and attractions. Even though it was lively at night, the staff provided complimentary earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a fun and enjoyable stay.

The staff was really nice and friendly, always willing to help. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient for accessing the train and bus stations. Additionally, the kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook meals during our stay.
The noise in the area was unbearable at night. There were bars nearby that stayed open late, and the loud music and rowdy patrons made it impossible to sleep without earplugs. The area was also not particularly safe at night, so we did not feel comfortable walking around after dark. while the staff and facilities were satisfactory, the location was just too noisy and unsafe for our liking.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from the Old Town and the bus station. The hotel provides great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The friendly and helpful staff make your stay even more enjoyable. Despite being located in a noisy area, the hotel's rooms are well-equipped and provide a comfortable stay.
The hotel could improve on the noise insulation.

The location of this budget hotel was quite close to several bars, which made it easy to get to nice nightlife spots down the street. the room was clean, and the shared bathroom was functional. the helpful owner and self-check-in option were also positive aspects.
The noise at night was unbearable, especially if you're sensitive to loud music.

Spent a wonderful New Year's Eve weekend at this cozy guesthouse. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location couldn't be better - so close to the seafront, old town, and lots of restaurants. Loved the high ceilings in the room and the fact that there was a basic kitchen to whip up a quick snack. the roof terrace was an added bonus - great for soaking up some sun and enjoying the view.
There was some noise from nearby bars and cafes, but that's to be expected in a central location. the room could have been better ventilated, as it was a bit stuffy at times.

The location was fantastic, with everything we needed within walking distance. We loved being close to the marina, waterfront, and old town, as well as the rail and bus station. Having a roof deck was a definite highlight, as we enjoyed sipping wine and indulging in some cheese in the afternoon. the kitchen and fridge were also convenient for making our own meals.
The bed was quite narrow and uncomfortable for two people. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep, as whenever one of us moved, the other had to move too.
